This 2015 Holden Colorado had a small birthday today. It received a Service, had a brake fluid and coolant change and an automatic transmission service. Nothing nicer than an automotive day spa. This customer tows a caravan regularly and so we recommend an automatic transmission service every 40000km.

A Kia Rio was booked in for an AC diagnosis. The Air conditioning was blowing hot air! The system was pressure tested and checked for leaks. A fault was found with the air conditioner control valve. We supplied and fitted a new air conditioner control valve and the system was refilled with new 134a refrigerant gas.

An unhappy 2016 Ford Ranger was towed to our Salisbury Plain workshop with 'no gears' functioning. After investigation by our experienced technicians a fault was found with the torque convertor. Unfortunately, Torque Convertors were not available to buy for this vehicle, so the original one had to be rebuilt. Once installed .... all systems go!

VY Commodore with window issues.  The owner told us  that the rear window wouldn't go up or down. Not great on a rainy day! So we pulled off the interior door panel  and found an issue with the window regulator which allows the window to slide up and down and it was replaced.

When a 2002 VY Commodore came in due to excessive noise, this is what we found. After the engine had warmed up, we heard a thumping noise coming from the engine. So we put it up on the hoist to investigate further. The noise as found to be in the gearbox. A second hand gearbox was supplied by the customer which we installed. And we made sure to replace the gear oil with fresh fluid..

One of our business customers had issues with their Mitsubishi Canter light commercial truck.  It came into the workshop in limp mode (which limits engine speed to help prevent any damage to the engine and is often cause by reduced engine air intake). We initiated an engine diagnosis on the ECU and discovered that the DPF needed a good clean. We performed a DPF burn and also changed the oil and filter. The Canter is now breathing easy again and back on the road.

When a 2015 Holden Trax came in for it's regular service we found that everything was great on the 65 point safety inspection. However, the battery tested low and so after advising the customer and providing a quote, a new battery was fitted
